This pdf document includes 12 versions to suit most cake makers processes, including those who create tiers with 3 & 4 layer sponges, cut their cakes into 1 x 1 inch, 1 x 1.5 inch and 1 x 2 inch portions and those who do and don't cut their portions in half height wise. 

The first page of the cutting guides allows you to include the following information:

  • Details of the cake e.g. size, flavours (enough space for up to 5 tiers
  • A pictorial guide to show how to cut the cake (including all the different variations as mentioned above)
  • Allergen information and other useful info for the cutter

You can also print it as a double sided document with the reverse side including useful information about undressing and unstacking the cake, tips for the cake cutting and cake stand information
